Professional Background

Combining business sense with an ability to find creative settlement solutions, Zoë acts on insurance defence claims and employment law disputes. She also assists on condominium and real estate disputes. Zoë began her career in a boutique firm where she gained hands on experience running her own personal injury and various civil litigation files.   

For Zoë, each new insurance file begins with an accurate assessment of the claim and the risks. Her clients who can count on her to collaborate on the best approach for each file and for her to provide regular updates on the file’s progress. Always looking for ways for resolution, Zoë provides recommendations on actions to take to keep a claim moving throughout the litigation process.

In her employment practice, Zoë advises employers and employees on wrongful dismissal claims and severance package negotiations. She also acts for employers seeking proactive advice ahead of a termination. 

While attending law school, she participated in various moots and oral advocacy. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada to teach youths the fundamentals of the legal system.

Zoë was born and raised in Calgary. An accomplished rider and Spruce Meadows competitor, Zoë continues to actively compete in equestrian showjumping.
