Professional Background

Ashley has spent her career as a litigator focusing on insurance related disputes. Her practice focuses on aviation, class actions, professional negligence, professional disciplinary and defending personal injury claims. She also has extensive experience working on commercial litigation matters dealing with construction, and product liability. From complex claims involving multiple parties to defending a professional’s livelihood and reputation, Ashley takes an individual, practical approach to each claim.

Ashley has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has also appeared before a number of disciplinary boards and administrative tribunals in both Ontario and Alberta. Ashley is a member of both the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Ontario.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Canadian Studies from McGill University in 2005, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2008. She completed her articles at a national firm in Calgary, and joined Scott Venturo Rudakoff LLP shortly thereafter. In 2011, Ashley moved to Toronto, and worked at an insurance litigation boutique in Toronto for three years before returning to Calgary and Scott Venturo Rudakoff LLP in 2014.
