Professional Background

As one of the firm’s recently called Associates, Kendra will be working on all aspects of a file over the course of the year, including document review, research and analysis, drafting documents, preparing arguments, attending questioning, and making court appearances. Her work will include assisting on Litigation and Insurance, Family and Condominium files.

No matter what gets thrown her way, Kendra keeps her composure and focus. Prior to law school, Kendra completed a double major in psychology and sociology. She then worked in social services in Calgary where she faced daily challenges helping the city’s most vulnerable, including individuals and families experiencing homelessness and youth in care. Her move into law was a natural extension of her commitment to advocating for others.  

Kendra has always been committed to volunteering. During law school she was active with Pro Bono Students Canada and contributed to the Indigenous Legal information Project with Calgary Legal Guidance. She was also a student editor with the Alberta Law Review. Growing up in rural Southern Alberta, Kendra played every sport on offer. She still keeps active and plays slo-pitch whenever she can.
